£5k raised at West Ham game

The BHAFC Foundation raised over £5,000 during Albion’s Premier League fixture against West Ham last Sunday.

Members of the Foundation team were stationed around the lounges at the Amex Stadium taking donations, promoting a silent auction, and spreading word about the charity.

The silent auction had a range of items kindly donated by friends, sponsors, and partners, raising a total sum of £5,220 from the day.

Former star Guy Butters, and Head of Marketing & Income Generation Mark Barkaway, also took to the pitch at half time to speak about the work the Foundation does across Sussex.

Mark said: “Thank you to everyone who supported the Foundation on Sunday, we were really pleased to raise more than £5,000.

“As we approach the busy winter period, that money will go a long way in ensuring we can bring football, education, and wellbeing to as many people as possible.”

The Foundation will be hosting an expanded community matchday towards the latter end of the season – keep an eye out on our social media and email communications to find out more details.
