AITC nominated at Football Business Awards for eighth year running
For the eighth year in a row, we have been nominated for Best Football Community Scheme at the Football Business Awards (FBAs).
We have been placed on the shortlist for this honour every year since 2016, winning it on five occasions.
We have been put forward for Best Football Community Scheme alongside Everton in the Community, the Liverpool Foundation, and the Manchester United Foundation among others.
As one of the pre-eminent awards ceremonies in football, it is a huge accolade to be nominated for a prize at the FBAs.
Matt Dorn, CEO at AITC, was delighted with the news: “We’re very pleased to see that we have once again been nominated for an award at the Football Business Awards.
“To be nominated once is an honour, but to be nominated for eight years in a row is a powerful testament to the simply amazing work our staff do year after year.
“We’re glad to have been recognised for our hard work, and we will continue working to change lives all over Sussex.”
Alongside our nomination, Brighton & Hove Albion FC have also made the shortlist for a host of different awards: Best Fan Engagement (Club), the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Award, and the Sustainability Award.
The FBA award ceremony will be taking place on Friday 26 May.
