Albion fans enjoy 90s Foundation quiz night

A 90s-themed quiz night at the Amex Stadium has raised over £5,500 for the BHAFC Foundation.
Albion fans came out in droves for the extra-special quiz night, which featured an unforgettable music round hosted by international DJ and Albion supporter Fatboy Slim.
Teams battled it out during an evening of trivia hosted by fan favourite Rich Reynolds, with all proceeds from the quiz supporting the Foundation’s life-changing work across Sussex.
Quizgoers were invited to get kitted out in their best 1990s fashion with bucket hats, baggy trousers, and tracksuits all on display.
Over 100 quizzers across 18 teams joined us at the quiz – including Joel Veltman and his wife – battling it out for the coveted winners’ medals.
Fans also had the chance to get their hands on some cool Albion memorabilia and other prizes through a tombola and a ‘Spot the Ball’ competition.
As ever, Albion legend Guy Butters was in attendance to hand out his ‘Butters’ Bonus Cards’.
The evening raised a total sum of £5,517, which will directly support the Foundation’s work to help people get active, learn new skills, and live well through the power of football.
Lauren Ellis, Fundraising Manager at the Foundation, was delighted at the support on show last night.
“This was a fantastic quiz night for us, it seems like everyone really got on board with the 90s theme and had a brilliant evening.
“It was a treat to have Norman Cook host our music round, and it made the event feel extra-special.
“Thank you to all of our sponsors and suppliers – Piglet’s Pantry, Lost Pier Brewing, The Brighton Dome, Amberley Museum, Duke of York’s Picturehouse, Brighton & Hove Museums – to Rich Reynolds, Guy Butters and Norman Cook for making the event extra special, and of course to all of our amazing quizzers.
“We hope to see everyone at our next quiz later this year!”
