Albion fans show their support at community matchday

Albion fans in their thousands helped support the BHAFC Foundation’s work last Saturday, raising a huge £14,416 for the charity!
The club’s fixture against Leicester City last weekend was an official Foundation matchday – a chance for the charity to promote its work to the fans, and to gather donations to help fund its community work.
This year, the charity was asking Albion fans to support the Foundation by buying raffle tickets. The lucky winner of that raffle was drawn at half time, receiving four business class tickets to anywhere in Europe courtesy of British Airways. Congratulations to the winner!
Famous Foundation supporters were also in attendance to drum up support. International DJ Fatboy Slim and Royal Blood’s Ben Thatcher both came to the game to help spread the word and raise money for the Foundation.
During the pre-match warm-up Albion players wore special BHAFC Foundation tees to show their support for the charity.
Fans might have stopped for a chat with one of the many Foundation staff or volunteers around the ground, or perhaps have watched Guy Butters starring in a special feature video on the big screens during half time.

“Once again Albion fans have supported the Foundation in their thousands. I can’t say a big enough thank you to everyone who took the time to engage with us yesterday.
“I hope that Albion fans have come away from the game knowing a little more about what their Foundation does, and that they all feel proud knowing their donations will help us change lives.”
