Albion kit team supporting Foundation on charity walk

The Albion kit team are setting out on a 35-mile charity walk to raise money for the BHAFC Foundation and celebrate the charity’s 35th anniversary.
Alex Burrows (known to Albion fans as Buzz) and kit assistant Harry Wood, alongside social media manager Matt Bishop, will be walking 35 miles from Rustington to the Amex this June.
The fundraiser, which you can donate to here, will support the Foundation’s community work with young people all over Sussex.
The kit team aim to raise a total of £35,000, marking 35 years since the Foundation was formed. They will also be donating kit to local schools along the route.
“We’re really looking forward to taking on this challenge and supporting the Foundation. This is our way of giving a little something back to the charity and highlighting the incredible work they’ve done over the last 35 years – all while hopefully raising vital funds in the process.
“I’m so proud to be helping the amazing Foundation and I can’t wait to get started – and finish! See you all along the way and hopefully at the end too, celebrating in The Terrace!”
Buzz’s Charity Walk will start on Wednesday 25 June in Rustington and end at the Amex on Friday 27 June, finishing with an exciting finale at The Terrace.
Matt Dorn, BHAFC Foundation CEO, said: “We’re so grateful to Buzz and the team for raising money for us, and helping us to celebrate a big milestone.
“It would be fantastic to see as many Albion fans as possible support the kit team on their challenge. Good luck!”
