Almost £6k raised in bauble auction

The Foundation’s signed bauble auction has come to a close, raising £5825 in total.

More than 50 Albion players, coaches, and famous faces signed baubles to be auctioned off for Christmas. As always, all money raised from the auction will support the Foundation’s community work across Sussex.

New baubles were auctioned off every day for 13 days, including ones signed by DJ Fatboy Slim and Royal Blood drummer Ben Thatcher.

Paul Mullen, Interim CEO at the BHAFC Foundation, was delighted at the response from Albion fans.

“Once again our fans have taken to our Christmas bauble auction and raised a really significant sum for the charity. Almost £6,000 will go a long way in helping us bring football to even more people in the local community.

“I’m sure they’ll make some fine additions to fans’ Christmas trees this winter. I hope all the winners enjoy them and have a fantastic Christmas!”

The auction kicked off on 3 December with baubles signed by Danny, Mats, Adam, and Tom.

Several baubles sold for more than £200, including ones signed by skipper Lewis Dunk, Danny Welbeck, and Kaoru Mitoma.
