Dream Pascal interview for Foundation youngsters
Three young people were given the chance to interview Albion star Pascal Gross at the club’s training ground.
Esther and Pebbles from the BHAFC Foundation’s Football Pathway programme, and Harvey from the charity’s disability football programme, were invited to meet Pascal last week.
They took part in a special televised interview as part of Pascal’s media duties before the club’s Premier League fixture against Burnley.
The three youngsters were full of questions for Pascal, both about their interest in football but also about racism and how football is tackling the issue.
The Burnley fixture was one of the Premier League’s official No Room For Racism matchdays, and the three young players were given the chance to help raise awareness of that campaign by interviewing Gross.
Mark Pedrick, Football Participation manager at the Foundation, was excited to see some of his players given the chance to meet a Premier League star.
“I know the three of them were absolutely buzzing to meet Pascal, and they all had a really good time. Pascal was great with them and took the time to answer their questions in detail.
“It was a fantastic day for everyone involved, and it’s all supporting a really important campaign at the same time.”
