Foundation runners raise £4k for charity

The team of runners representing the BHAFC Foundation at the Brighton Marathon weekend have raised around £4,000 for charity.

13 people donned the Foundation running vest last Sunday across the Brighton Marathon and the BM10K, representing the charity as they ran through the streets of Brighton.

Many runners are still collecting more funds, but the total raised will be in excess of £4,000 to support our community work all over Sussex.

Once again the KJ Leopards of TC Knill James were well represented, as well as a host of Albion fans and staff members.

Lauren Ellis, Fundraising Manager at the Foundation, was delighted with the team’s fundraising efforts.

“We had a fantastic day supporting the Foundation team on Sunday, we’re so grateful to everyone who ran for us.

“They not only represented the Foundation but also raised a huge sum of money for us, and I can’t thank them all enough.

“It really does make such a massive difference, and helps us change lives all over Sussex.”

If you would like to represent the BHAFC Foundation in a running event, you can email fundraising@bhafcfoundation.org.uk to express your interest in the Brighton Marathon, Brighton Half Marathon, and BM10K next year.
