Guy Butters says: Become a Community Champion today!
Albion legend and BHAFC Foundation stalwart Guy Butters is calling on Albion fans to support the Foundation during Blue and White Week.
Blue and White Week is the Foundation’s annual celebration week, during which we spread the word about the life-changing work we do all over Sussex, and try to get as much support from Albion fans as possible.
Community Champions are a group of dedicated supporters who commit £5 a month to the Foundation, and receive a host of exciting benefits.
As a special Blue and White Week giveaway, we’re running a free prize draw for a signed Albion 23/24 home shirt for anyone who becomes a Community Champion before 11:59pm on Sunday 10 March.
We think that becoming a Community Champion is the best way you can show your support for the BHAFC Foundation as an Albion fan.
Guy, who has been associated with the club and charity for more than 20 years now, agrees.
Guy played for the Albion between 2002 and 2008, making 187 appearances. Since retiring, he has worked for the Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation as a mentor and fundraiser, and now he’s asking fans to show their support for the charity.
“I think people should sign up to be a Community Champion because when you choose to give a donation to BHAFC Foundation you’re helping to make a real difference.,” Guy says.
“It enables us to carry out our crucial work, thanks to the generosity of people like you, and when you donate to a cause you care about, you’ll know that your donation is making a very real impact on the lives of those that the charity helps.”
