Pan-disability side play at Craven Cottage

The BHAFC Foundation pan-disability team had the amazing opportunity to play at a Premier League stadium earlier this week.
The pan-disability Seagulls were invited to play at Craven Cottage to take part in the DisAbility Football Festival on Tuesday (27 May).
The festival, which was organised and hosted by the Fulham FC Foundation, gave a wide range of players the chance to feel like a Premier League footballer for a day.
Phil Broom, Disability Lead at the BHAFC Foundation, said: “Our players had the best time at Craven Cottage. It’s the kind of experience we want them to have as much as possible.
“They’re all so engaged and train really well, so it was nice for them to have this opportunity as a reward for all their dedication.”
A number of parents and carers of pan-disability players also wanted to share their gratitude.
“It was a great experience, really inclusive football and great teamwork, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” one said.
Another added: “Very well organised, we felt very welcomed. They included the BHAFC Foundation team extremely well, made sure they always had a chance to play. Freddie really enjoyed it, and it felt very inclusive.”
“The trip to Fulham’s Craven Cottage was a true example of how memories are made,” another said.
“A celebration of disability football and how special and important it is to everyone that attends. I was super proud of how passionate and excited Phil and the coaches are for everyone who attended, it was a great collaboration between two great Foundations and I hope there will be many more.
“It will be a day that Zak will never forget. Thank you.”
