Rainbow Laces auction raises £6k for Foundation
Our signed Rainbow Laces warm-up tee auction has raised around £6,000 for the Foundation.
Albion men’s and women’s first team players signed limited-edition Rainbow Laces tees to be auctioned off to fans, with funds raised from the auction going towards supporting our life-changing work across Sussex.
The tees were designed by young Albion fan Livs Cook – she produced the winning design after hundreds of local children submitted entries into our competition.
Her shirt design was made into a reality, and worn by both first teams before their December Premier League and WSL fixtures against Brentford and Leicester respectively.
Matt Dorn, CEO at the BHAFC Foundation, was delighted at the response from Albion fans.
“We were very impressed by how much the fans have supported this campaign.
“Livs’ shirt design really was fantastic, so it’s no surprise that so many people wanted to get their hands on one.
“I’d like to thank Livs for her wonderful input, and of course the hundreds of other kids who sent us their designs. We had so many great ones to choose from!”
