Santa Bus supports the Foundation

The Brighton Santa Bus is returning this Christmas and raising money to support the BHAFC Foundation.

Brighton and Hove Buses have run the Santa Bus scheme for 22 years now, bringing the Christmas spirit to Brighton and supporting local charities at the same time.

The Santa Bus, which has raised over £450,000 since the scheme began, will tour 20 routes over 20 nights between 24 November and 23 December.

The Foundation is one of 12 local charities being supported by the Santa Bus this winter, alongside other amazing organisations like the Chestnut Tree House and Rockinghorse.

Mark Barkaway, Head of Income Generation at the charity, said: “We’re so pleased that Brighton and Hove Buses have once again chosen us as one of their charities for the Santa Bus programme.

“Everyone loves seeing the Santa Bus each Christmas and it brings so much joy and festive spirit to the city. We, alongside 11 other fantastic local charities, are lucky to be supported by such a lovely scheme which has become an annual tradition.”

Ed Wills, Managing Director of Brighton and Hove Buses, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to the local community and businesses who make the Santa Bus possible.

“Becoming a Santa Bus collection point is a simple but powerful way to give something back and be part of something magical.”
