Trustee chair Carina Bauer recognised with business award

BHAFC Foundation Chair of Trustees, Carina Bauer, has been recognised for her incredible work by winning the coveted Businesswoman of the Year award at the 2025 Dynamic Awards.

The ceremony took place at The Grand Hotel in Brighton on 8 May and celebrated the achievements of the South East’s most inspirational businesswomen.

As CEO of Brighton-based global events company, the IMEX Group, Carina’s decades in the events industry, dedication to inspiring the leaders of tomorrow and championing issues around sustainability, diversity and inclusion saw her selected from hundreds of entries.

Winning the award came as a shock to Carina: “I genuinely wasn’t expecting to win this award, so it was a complete surprise when I was called to the stage.

“I hope this recognition brings further attention to Brighton as a great place to build and grow a business, and to the fantastic work of the Foundation, which is something I’m super proud of.”

The Dynamic Awards, organised by Platinum Media Group, are the region’s leading platform for recognising the talent, resilience and impact of businesswomen.

Carina was presented with her award by Kate Partridge, partner at DMH Stallard who were sponsor and judge of this category.
