Why Eddie volunteers for us
EDDIE: WHY I VOLUNTEER
Our team of volunteers go above and beyond to help us make our events extra special. We asked one of our volunteers, Eddie, to tell us why he gives up his time to volunteer with us.
“As a lifelong Albion fan I have always been passionate about the club, especially the work they do in the community,” Eddie says.
“I was keen to volunteer for the BHAFC Foundation, and when I saw on Instagram that they were looking for volunteers I jumped at the chance.
Eddie has volunteered to support the Foundation at several events, including at the Brighton Marathon and several community matchdays at the Amex Stadium.
“Throughout the last season I thoroughly enjoyed all the events I volunteered for – the love and community spirit I’ve seen for the Foundation has been incredibly heart-warming, and knowing we’re making a difference through the club is a great feeling.
“I am very much looking forward to the exciting opportunities I’ll have to support the charity this season.”
