Youngsters given free Albion tickets

Youngsters given free Albion tickets

Some young football fans were given the chance to watch the Albion in style last weekend.

Young players Anastasia and Emily were given free tickets to HB’s Restaurant to watch Albion’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Anastasia and Emily are part of our girls’ football pathway programme, and were invited to the game alongside Anastasia’s dad, Anthony.

Anastasia has had a challenging year with illness in the family, and Emily and her family have been a big support.

The tickets to this game were kindly donated by long-time club sponsor and Foundation supporter Snickers UK.

It was certainly an exciting game to watch, with plenty of goals and action as the Seagulls battled to try and find a winner against a 10-man Forest.

Dad Anthony said: “We had a wonderful day, from the start everything was out of this world. The welcome, the seats, the food – and the game wasn’t too bad!

“Red cards, quality football and four goals. The day will definitely be one of those ‘remember when’ days that will stay with us for a long time.

“I’m glad Anastasia could be here with Emily, she and her family have been a huge support during this period. Team mates on and off the pitch!

“Thank you to Snickers UK and the BHAFC Foundation for making it possible.”

Chris Ruff, Managing Director at Snickers UK, added: “What Anthony and Anastasia have been through is unthinkable.

“Being able to do something like this for them is a privilege. I’m so glad they had such a great day, it was a pleasure.”

The game was also an official BHAFC Foundation community matchday; a chance for the charity to spread the word about their life-changing work and to raise vital funds to help make it happen.
