50 Foundation players take part in pan-disability tournament

Players of all ages represented the BHAFC Foundation in a pan-disability football tournament hosted by the Surrey FA.

50 Foundation players travelled to compete in the annual Godstone Farm Pan-Disability Tournament, which sees pan-disability teams from across the south east take part.

Our Under-12s, Under-16s, and adult sides all entered into the tournament, and the Under-12s went on to win the trophy.

They faced off against teams including the Fulham Foundation, the Sutton United Foundation, and Hastings United.

The Under-12s’ success comes off the back of the Foundation Under-16s winning a trophy in last year’s edition of the Godstone Farm tournament.

Phil Broom, Disability Manager at the Foundation, said: “Well done to every Foundation player, and every other team, who took part and made this tournament another great day.

“The standard of football was really high once again and we’re delighted that our Under-12s managed to win their tournament.

“It was a brilliant day out for 50 of our players and we’re looking forward to coming again next year.”
