Supporting Young Men Through Football
Helping Boys Build Confidence, Connections and Life Skills
Growing up today presents a range of challenges for young people. Social pressures, online influences and a lack of positive role models can leave many boys feeling isolated, disengaged or uncertain about their future.
This project creates a safe and supportive environment where young men experiencing disadvantage can:
- Build self-confidence and resilience
- Develop healthy friendships and support networks
- Improve communication and teamwork skills
- Explore topics such as identity, relationships and wellbeing
- Increase engagement with school and their wider community
- Learn from positive role models and mentors
Using football as a tool for engagement, the programme helps participants develop skills that can benefit them both on and off the pitch.
This programme is supported by the Premier League PFA Players’ Fund.
