Memorable quiz night raises £5,000 for BHAFC Foundation
We celebrated a successful Quiz Night at the Amex last week, raising over £5,000 for the BHAFC Foundation.
More than 120 people joined us during a memorable evening at the Amex Stadium – kindly sponsored by American Express – full of brain-teasing quiz questions, tasty food, and laughter.
21 teams put their wits to the test last Thursday night (February 1), enjoying an entertaining quiz night while raising money to support our life-changing work across Sussex.
The quiz, which was hosted by Albion favourite Rich Reynolds, took place at the Focus Group Lounge in the West Stand.
Quizgoers had plenty to entertain them on the night – each guest had a tasty dinner (courtesy of Piglets Pantry) included, as well as the chance to win some great prizes.
Club legend Guy Butters helped run a ‘Spot the Ball’ competition, and guests had the chance to win some exclusive Albion memorabilia in a tombola, with prizes generously donated by a number of kind sponsors.
Lauren Ellis, Fundraising Manager for the Foundation, said the evening was a great success.
“The quiz went just as planned, and it looked like everyone had an amazing time,” she said.
“I’m pleased that the evening ran so smoothly, and that everyone enjoyed a night full of trivia and fun.
“I’d like to give a huge thank you to American Express for sponsoring the evening, to Piglets Pantry and Sodexo for helping us provide some excellent food and drink, and to Rich Reynolds for hosting the evening to his usual high standards.”
