Pan-disability success in Surrey

The BHAFC Foundation’s pan-disability sides enjoyed a successful trip to the Surrey FA for a series of tournaments.
The Godstone Farm Pan-Disability Tournament – a fixture of the football calendar – sees pan-disability teams from across the south east compete.
Our Under-12s, Under-16s, and adult sides all travelled to Surrey to take part, with our Under-16s going on to win their age group’s tournament.
They faced competition from sides including the Palace for Life Foundation, Fulham FC Foundation, Ifield FC, and Sutton United.
Phil Broom, Disability Lead at the Foundation, said: “We’re really proud of every single one of our players who represented the club at Surrey FA.
“Our Under-16s showed some amazing talent in winning their tournament, but we were delighted with the performance of each of our teams who took part.
“Thank you to everyone who helped make this day happen.”
Surrey FA’s Head of Marketing, Kirk Ritchie, said: “Wow, what a day. Listening to the players talking to their parents in the stand was impactful and moving.
“To see the smiles on the faces of both parents and players was something that will just stay with me.”
