Albion stars make surprise visit to girls in Whitehawk

Albion first team stars Vicky Losada and Pauline Bremer visited girls playing at a BHAFC Foundation football session in Whitehawk.

Pauline and Vicky are both official BHAFC Foundation player ambassadors for the 23/24 season, and this trip to Whitehawk marked their first community visit of the season.

The pair surprised girls at a Premier League Kicks session on a wet evening at the Manor Sports & Activity Centre, but no one’s spirits were dampened.

The Whitehawk PL Kicks session is a free drop-in football session which dozens of girls attend every week.

Vicky and Pauline came to visit the girls in Whitehawk last Wednesday (November 8), answering the girls’ questions about life as a professional footballer and even joining in their match.

Pauline, who joined the Albion from Wolfsburg this summer, enjoyed her first outing as a Foundation ambassador.

“It was really great to visit the girls in Whitehawk and learn more about the Premier League Kicks programme,” Pauline said.

Vicky Losada told us that she thinks football is a great tool for engaging local kids.

“Football is a great hobby to have, and a good way for kids to stay active and have fun,” Vicky said, “And who knows, maybe some of these girls will be playing for the Albion one day!”

Premier League Kicks is a free football programme that football clubs deliver all over the country, providing free football and mentorship to hundreds of thousands of children in England and Wales.
