Event overview

The Albion Games is a disability sports day and unique corporate team building experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your company to network with other businesses, enjoy a team building day out, and support a charity working directly with your local community.

Teams will participate in: 

  • Visually Impaired Football – Six-a-side football using impairment goggles 
  • Wheelchair Basketball – Wheelchair basketball using specially adapted sports wheelchairs  
  • Seated Volleyball – Have a go at volleyball without the use of your legs
  • One-leg Penalty Shoot-out – One-legged penalties with the help of crutches 
  • Goal Ball – A seated, visually-impaired form of football 
  • Boccia – A weighted bowling game tailored for people in wheelchairs

 

When and where

  • Location – University of Brighton Sports Centre, Village Way, Falmer, BN1 9PH
  • Time – 9.30am – 3.30pm

Entry cost 

Entry costs a £700 donation per team – teams of six to eight can enter. Your donation includes:

  • Casual lunch on site (all dietary needs will be catered for) 
  • A team photo taken by an official BHAFC club photographer 
  • A trophy for the winning team 
  • Unique football shirt medals for all runners up to take home  
  • Free parking on site 
  • The reduced rate of £600 per team for any additional teams you may want to enter. 

Please note: This event can only go ahead if we have a minimum 10 teams competing. If you know of a business that may want to battle it out to win the prestigious Albion Cup, let us know by emailing fundraising@bhafcfoundation.org.uk.
