BHAFC Foundation shortlisted for two awards
We’re pleased to announce that the Foundation has been shortlisted for two major industry awards.
The charity has been nominated in the ‘Best Sports Community Scheme – UK Football Clubs’ category in the Sport Business Awards, and in the ‘Charity of the Year’ category in the Charity Times Awards.
For the Charity of the Year award, the Foundation has been shortlisted alongside fantastic charities including Safe Passage International, FoodCycle, and The Care Workers Charity.
The awards ceremony for the Charity Times Awards is taking place on 25 September, while the Sport Business Awards winners will be announced on 29 November.
Matt Dorn, BHAFC Foundation CEO, was delighted to learn about the two nominations.
“It’s a huge honour to be shortlisted for these two prestigious awards,” he said.
“Everyone at the Foundation works so hard to change lives all year round, and these nominations show that our hard work is being appreciated.
“We’re amongst some amazing charities doing really important work in these shortlists. Being nominated alongside them is a real privilege.”
These Foundation was also shortlisted in the Football Business Awards earlier this year.
