Get moving in May for Albion in the Community
Albion in the Community (AITC) are encouraging fans to get moving this May and help raise funds for the charity’s award-winning work.
As the latest virtual fundraising challenge from the official charity of Brighton & Hove Albion, fans are being asked to get active and move every day for the month of May.
To participate all that fans need to do is;
- Pick a daily distance or time to cover each day.
- Ask friends and family to donate or sponsor.
- Put your Albion colours on and get moving by walking, running, swimming, skating, pushing or even hopping the distance every day during May.
Whether you are a keen runner or just want to get rid of the Easter chocolate, Move it May lets you get active your way. Entry is just £10 per person and for everyone who raises more than £50 for the charity will receive a special Move it May medal.
Mark Barkaway who oversees fundraising at AITC said: “Support from fans for fundraising challenges like these are so important for the charity and helps us to raise vital funds for our work. Raising just £50 can help to cover the cost of providing a football session for a child with a disability. We’re looking forward to seeing many fans taking part as the weather gets warmer and helping to make a big difference of our local communities.”
