October quiz night raises £3,500
An autumnal quiz night at the Amex Stadium has raised almost £3,500 for the Foundation.
Albion fans were invited to the Focus Group Lounge in the West Stand for an evening of trivia hosted by fan favourite Rich Reynolds, with all proceeds supporting the Foundation’s life-changing work across Sussex.
It was a Bavarian-themed evening, with oompah music, bratwurst, lederhosen and more adding a German flavour to proceedings, in honour of our new head coach Fabian Hurzeler.
Just under 100 quizzers across 15 teams joined us at the quiz, battling it out for the coveted winners’ medals.
Quizgoers also had the chance to get their hands on some cool Albion memorabilia and other prizes through a tombola and a ‘Spot the Ball’ competition.
As ever, Albion legend Guy Butters was in attendance to hand out his ‘Butters’ Bonus Cards’.
The evening raised a total sum of £3,483, which will directly support the Foundation’s work to help people get active, learn new skills, and live well through the power of football.
Lauren Ellis, Fundraising Manager at the Foundation, was delighted at the support on show last night.
“We’ve had so many teams come and join us for this event, and it looks like everyone had a fantastic evening,” she said.
“Once again Rich Reynolds has made this quiz an unforgettable event. I’m sure everyone will go home tonight with an oompah spring in their step.
“Thank you to our prize sponsors – Harbour Hotels, Dobby’s Garden Centre, Spiced Sussex, David Lloyd Worthing – to Rich Reynolds and Guy Butters for making the event extra special, and of course to all of our amazing quizzers.
“We hope to see everyone at our next quiz in spring 2025!”
