London to Brighton team raise over £6k
Guy Butters and a team of Foundation cyclists raised more than £6,500 to support the BHAFC Foundation.
A group of ten supporters took on the London to Brighton cycle challenge on 13 September, cycling the 55-mile route representing team Foundation to raise money for the charity.
Guy has become a regular at Foundation cycling challenges, having taken on a number of different events in recent years.
This year, Guy and supporter Maisie took on the challenge in memory of Maisie’s father, longtime Foundation supporter and Albion fan John Doherty.
Guy said: “The team did a brilliant job this year, it was a tough day but to have raised over £6,000 is a top effort from the whole group.
“That money will go a long way in helping the Foundation change lives all over Sussex.
“It was even more special to do it in memory of John Doherty, and I’m glad we were able to do him proud.”
